Janet S. Tiger is an award-winning playwright whose works have been produced internationally from New York to New Zealand. In 1995, she was diagnosed with inoperable breast cancer, but with intensive chemotherapy, surgery, radiation and lots of prayers, she is alive and thriving in San Diego with her family - husband, Stan, and their children, Louis and Irene.

This collection of poems started after the birth of Louis in 1991, and chronicles the joys of motherhood, through the dark days and into the light of survival.

Anyone who has been through hard times will appreciate the humor and honesty - and anyone who is going through it right now will appreciate knowing that there is another side and it is fantastic.
